These terms set out the conditions for using the Area Calculator (the “Service”). By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
The Service is a free tool for estimating land area and distances by drawing shapes on Google Maps. The operator may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service without notice.
The Service is free to use, but displays ads to cover operating costs. For information about how data is handled for ad delivery, please see the Privacy Policy.
The displayed areas and lengths are estimates, and their accuracy is not guaranteed. They may differ from actual terrain or property boundaries. Use the results as a guide, and consult a professional if you need an accurate survey.
The Service uses Google Maps Platform to display maps and calculate areas. The following Google terms and policies apply when you use the Service.
Users must not do any of the following when using the Service:
Violate laws or public order and morals
Infringe the rights of third parties
Use Google Maps Platform in violation of its terms
Interfere with operation of the Service, including by placing excessive load on its servers or network
The operator makes no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or usefulness of the Service. The operator accepts no responsibility for any damage or trouble arising from use of the Service.
The operator also accepts no responsibility for damage caused to users by failures of external services used by the Service.
The operator may change these terms without notice. If you use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised terms. These terms are governed by Japanese law.
